New York State to Review Resolution Making Prescreening for DPD Deficiency Mandatory for 5FU Patients

Resolution P/117/15 titled “Resolution urging the state legislature to require testing for DPD prior to chemotherapy treatment involving 5 Fluorouracil (5FU)” will be reviewed by New York State. Currently testing is not required in any US State. Currently no states require testing. Thank you to Judy Stoddard and the Cherri Stoddard foundation your hard work.

    My hope is that all the states make it required to be tested before taking the chemo treatment 5 FU.
    Seeing someone suffer because the medical field did not offer the prescreening is heartbreaking!
