Thursday (8/14) was a good day – Kerrie was reunited with her children and they had a wonderful visit at Kessler. Glenn acted on the advice of a child psychologist in carefully planning the visit and it went extremely well. The children were excited to see Kerrie and she responded very positively and unmistakably connected with them in her way.
As of 8/15 Horizon has not issued another denial of coverage but is looking for an update on her condition on 8/18. We expect that they may deny coverage again soon but we are prepared to exercise our appeal rights and fight. Kerrie continues to make improvements and we will do everything we can to keep her at Kessler as long as possible.
We greatly appreciate all the help and advice we’ve received over the past two weeks.
