Kerrie Update for May 4, 2014

Kerrie’s condition has not changed much in recent days so we didn’t have much to report.  Her vital signs continue to be good and the most recent MRI conducted this week showed no lesions in her brain from the 5-FU toxicity.  This is a very positive sign.

She has been resting comfortably and is still unconscious.  Her doctors and our expert advisors remain optimistic that she can make a full recovery and they have urged us to be patient.  She really is a unique case and has returned from a place that few if any have.  We are being told that her brain will need time to recover from the trauma she endured over the past several weeks.  We remain positive and hopeful and are trying our best to be patient as we wait for her to wake up.

Your love and support has been incredible and we will continue to need all the prayers and positive thoughts.  Kerrie has demonstrated unbelievable resilience – please keep sending all your positive energy to her to help her heal further.

Thank you again for everything you have done and continue to do.  We are humbled by your generosity and kindness and can’t thank you enough.

Sincerely,

The Prettitore, Moore and Matteo Families
